Post-Vacation, Anti-Bloat Smoothie Recipe
I just got back from a wonderful trip in Mexico with my Husband! And after days of too much tequila, wine and guacamole (yeah, you CAN have too much), one of the first things I wanted to do was whip up a cleansing, de-bloating smoothie. I honestly felt like both my insides and my energy levels needed an absolute reboot. So I decided to add our detoxifying Green Dream Superfood, powered by spirulina, along with Cacao Magic for an energizing boost sans caffeine.
The combination of fresh herbs, antioxidants, and the hydrating effects of coconut were perfect for settling my stomach. And somehow, even after a week full of delicious treats prepared by others, this smoothie still tasted incred... I guess there’s just nothing quite like treating yourself to the tastes you can make in your own kitchen.
Gather This:
- 8 ounces coconut water or nut milk
- 3 ounces aloe juice
- 2 handfuls organic fresh greens (I used spinach)
- 1 handful fresh mint
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful of parsley
- 1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
- 1 tablespoon Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Magic Coconut Butter
- a pinch of cinnamon
Do This:
Blend all ingredients in high speed blender. Add toppings if you'd like, and store leftovers in a travel jar to sip on throughout the day!
