Let’s talk for a minute about how drastically your body can change. One day you’re going from a morning yoga flow to a HIT at Equinox and capping your day with a sweat sesh at Hot 8 Yoga, but then the next you’re very pregnant and stuck on your couch battling morning sickness and constant naps. My body has been on a roller coaster this pregnancy (watch more about my journey on my YouTube channel!) and up until about a month ago a workout challenge sounded impossible.
Magically, as these things often happen, I started feeling better and I’ve been getting an itch to get my body moving. Starting a new year encouraged me even more to get back to my roots and get my sweat on. I knew that my constant craving for movement meant baby girl wanted it too.
I was so stoked to accept the Up For Anything challenge from Athleta! My body is changing so much thanks to my little girl growing inside me, so trying new workout studios throughout LA and pushing myself to new limits was exactly what mama needs! I was extra stoked to be decked out in Athleta from head to toe so I could feel super comfortable at The Wall in West Hollywood. The Up For Anything tight is beyond comfortable and the fabric is extra forgiving, if you know what I mean. It's made from Sculptek light fabric has a primo combination of movement and support. I felt comfortable pushing my body as hard as I could and knowing baby was cozy. The gear is so cute that I could transition from the class right into a work meeting for Philosophie. I felt put together, not to mention the tights offered little pockets to store snacks throughout the day.
The workout at The Wall is killer! I grabbed my bestie Rachelle, of The Neshama Project, and we headed over to WeHo to get our booties kicked! I love the intensity of the workout and how much core and upper body work we did! Those bear crawls were amazing for strengthening our upper arms. Lately, I've really been focusing on toning my arms and legs, so this class was perfect for just that! I loved my sports bra from Athleta too, it fit in all the right places and gave me full range to switch freely from move to move. Check out this video of us in action. If you take this class you won't regret it, especially if you throw on some Athleta gear!

After a full day of kick-butt workout and Philosophie meetings, I finished off with a Philosophie superfood smoothie. Challenging myself to be up for new workouts, foods and breaking away from routine is what I’m all about in 2018.
