Naturally-Energizing Honey Matcha Latte
What a wild year this one has been and so heavy. Lately, I’ve found myself in flight or fight response and my nervous system is shot since COVID, quarantine, BLM, and our world being in a state of collapse. My sleep is off, my anxiety is high and I’m not here for it.
Intuitively, I knew it was time for a break on many levels and this week have decided to slow down, sleep more and take a break from caffeine. I usually start my day with a delicious cup of superfood coffee full of plant-based protein and good, healthy fats but last week I was starting to feel anxious and nauseous after only one cup. My superfood coffee is so good for the body, I knew this was a response to my high stress + anxiety so it was time for a break.
I’m sharing a naturally-energizing honey matcha latte made with our Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend and Green Bee Honey! So far I feel amazing and my adrenals are getting the break they need to reset. This matcha latte is perfect for mornings and can be easily adapted into a nourishing boost when you add coconut butter, nut butter or soaked nuts.

Gather This:
6-8 oz dairy-free milk
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
1 tsp Green Bee Manuka Honey
1 tsp ashwagandha powder
1-2 tbsp coconut butter or almond butter or a handful of soaked nuts (optional)
Do This:
Blend 'til frothy! To make into a meal replacement, add the coconut butter/almond butter/handful of soaked nuts.
