4th of July Recipe Roundup

Happy 4th of July Philosophie tribe! We hope you’re enjoying the beautiful sunshine and soaking up moments together with friends and family. We’ve rounded up our favorite summer cookout recipes for any BBQ, block bash or pool party.

All our filled with our favorite Philosophie products and meant for many or a few. Enjoy and stay safe this holiday!


Rice Cracker Cakes

Gather This:

2 rice cakes

2 tablespoons almond butter

fresh fruit of choice

1 teaspoon Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

1 teaspoon of bee pollen

1 teaspoon hemp seeds


Do This:

Combine the Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend with 2 tablespoons of almond butter. Spread 1 tablespoon of the sweetened nut butter on one rice cake, and the other tablespoon on another. Add fresh fruit, hemp seeds, and bee pollen (granola would be super yummy too) + enjoy!

Watermelon Pizza

Gather This:

1 cup of your favorite dairy-free yogurt

1 tablespoon Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

watermelon, sliced into circular piece

¼ cup of  goji berries

¼ cup of blueberries

½ cup of  strawberries, sliced

¼ cup of walnuts


Do This:

Mix the yogurt with the Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend. Spread the supercharged yogurt onto the watermelon slice. Top with berries + nuts, and enjoy!

Green Dream Guacamole

Gather This:

10 cherry tomatoes

6-7 garlic cloves

3 avocados

1 jalapeno

1 lime, or lemon (juiced)

1 bunch of cilantro

1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood Blend + Protein

½ red onion

Do This:

Add the herbs, garlic, jalapeno, and onions to a blender, and pulse for 2-3 minutes until a paste forms. Then, add the avocados, tomatoes and Green Dream. Pulse until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Season with salt, pepper and lime juice to taste! Transfer to a bowl and enjoy immediately!!!


Sweet Grilled Fruit

Gather This:

4 peaches

2 pints fresh Black Mission figs (or any other kind of fig–plan on 6 half-figs per person)

4 T grapeseed Oil

3 T of Berry Bee Honey

Optional – Greek Yogurt for garnish


Do This:

PEACHES :: Preheat grill to medium. Halve + pit your peaches + brush them all around lightly with grapeseed oil. Place them on the grill cut side down. Grill for 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip, grill the other side. Serve warm, with a drizzle of Berry Bee Honey. If you like add a spoonful of Greek Yogurt!


Simple Kale Salad

Gather This:

1 bunch of Organic Kale

1 handful of Organic Blueberries

¼ cup slivered Almonds

Any spiralized veggies (we used spiralized Zucchini)

½ sliced Apple

1 rsp Nutritional Yeast

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Juice of ½ a lemon

Sprinkle of Bee Pollen

Green Bee Honey

Do This:

Chop Kale and set in a bowl, or serving platter. Sprinkle on Blueberries, sliced Apple, Nutritional Yeast, Bee Pollen, Slivered Almonds and spiralized Zucchini. Toss with lemon juice, a drizzle of EVOO, Green Bee Honey and dash of Nutritional Yeast!

Green Dream Roasted Carrots

Gather This:

1 bag of Organic Carrots (we used heirloom carrots)

1 tbsp EVOO

1 tsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tsp Green Bee Honey

S+P


Do This:

Slather carrots with Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend, Salt and Pepper, and roast on 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. Once caramelized, take out of the oven and drizzle with a bit of Green Bee Honey.

Optional: Add our Green Dream Pesto on the side for that extra flava.

Superfood Cookiewich

Gather This:

1/4 cup Cacao Bee Honey

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons coconut oil, warmed

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 large egg

2 cups almond flour, blanched or raw

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 teaspoon Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 teaspoon Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

1 teaspoon Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

½ cup So Delicious Dairy-Free Ice Cream


Do This:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add wet ingredients into one bowl and dry ingredients in the other bowl. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients and then add the chocolate chips. Separate the dough into 3 bowls, and in each separate bowl, add one of the three superfood powders. Roll into one-inch, golf-sized balls, and place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake each flavor for 10 minutes or so (depending on your oven)! Enjoy as is, or get a little extra indulgent like we did! Sandwich ½ cup of your favorite dairy-free ice cream in between two superfood cookies!

Chocolate Cherry Oats

Gather This:

1 cup frozen cauliflower rice

½ cup quick oats

1 cup water + more splashes as needed

2 tbsp ground seeds

1 tsp maca

2 tbsp Cacao Magic Superfood Blend

TOPPINGS - 

Cherries

Almond Butter

Cherry and chocolate grain -free granolas


Do This:

Bring oats, cauliflower and water to a boil.

Reduce heat and stir in seeds, maca and protein. Add more liquid as needed.

Transfer to a bowl and top!

Refreshing Chlorophyll Lemonade

It’s summer and that means it’s lemonade season! This better-for-you lemonade is made with fresh lemon, a touch of raw honey or maple syrup for sweetness, and liquid chlorophyll.


Chlorophyll cleanses your system, boosts your energy, and hydrates and by adding fresh lemon juice with some mint you’re making a drink that tastes great and totally hydrates and boosts your body.


Our Sunshine Drops help to eliminate harmful bacteria from the body, hydrates the skin, boosts your energy and ignites your senses!


Share this recipe with someone you want to drink it with! 

Sunshine Drops

Gather This:

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup

1-2 droppers of Sunshine Drops

8-12 oz water

Ice


Do This:

Mix the juice of 1 lemon, raw honey or maple syrup and Sunshine Drops in your favorite glass. Add ice and 8-12 oz of water. Stir, sip and enjoy!

Blissful Berry Pineapple Smoothie

Summer of sunshine! We’re embracing our inner child and spending our summer afternoons roller skating (or rather, attempting to roller skate) and sipping on all the superfood smoothies we could ever want! 


Pineapple is great for digestion because of the natural enzymes, our Berry Bliss superfood blend is high in vitamin C and antioxidants, and the mint lightens the smoothie up making it uber refreshing! 


You can’t go wrong with this energy-boosting, refreshing summertime smoothie!

Berry Pineapple Smoothie

Gather This:

8 oz coconut water or water 

½ cup strawberries

1 tbsp coconut oil

½ cup pineapple (frozen or fresh)

A few sprigs of fresh mint

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp Berry Bliss


Do This:

Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend well until smooth and creamy. Pour into a beautiful glass, and enjoy with your favorite toppings!

Gather This:

1 cup frozen pineapple 

1 cup almond milk

½ frozen banana

1 tbsp rolled oats

Do This:

California is back open and we’re preparing for a summer of celebration, reunion and adventure! The best thing you can do for your mental and physical health as you gently ease back into the world again is load up your body with nourishing nutrient-dense foods and superfoods


This creamy Green Dream smoothie tastes delightfully sweet and super refreshing. Adding a green smoothie to the start of your day or as a mid-afternoon snack is a simple and effective way to incorporate more vitamins and minerals into your day. 


We’ve added some of our liquid chlorophyll + mint Sunshine Drops which help support digestion, hydrates the skin, detoxes, and boosts your energy. If you’re someone who isn’t a big fan of the taste of chlorophyll, sneaking a few drops into your morning smoothie is an excellent way to get all the benefits of chlorophyll.

Handful of lettuce

Handful of frozen peaches

1 frozen banana
