It’s always when we’re starving that we usually give into our cravings and eat processed, nutrient-poor foods. To minimize these moments, make a batch of these dreamy Cacao Magic + Peanut Butter Protein Bars at the beginning of the week.
Not only will these nourishing bars satisfy any hunger pangs, they’re also super yummy + packed with protein, fiber, healthy fats, potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants!
- 1 cup organic peanut butter (Justin’s is great!)
- 1 cup protein powder (try the vanilla grass-fed whey from Mother’s)
- 1 cup raw oats
- ½ cup Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend (or more for darker chocolate)
- 3 tablespoons (or to taste) Cacao Bee Honey
- 2-5 tablespoons water
Heat and soften the peanut butter + honey slightly in a double boiler. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well (mixture should become crumbly and slightly moist). Add water accordingly until desired texture is achieved. Press firmly into a 9x9 square tray + refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Cut into bars and ENJOY!
