Blue Majik Layered Chia Recipe

We’re feeling a lil’ dreamy over here at Philosophie HQ, which calls for beauty creations and sweets galore. I’m in love with this layered chia full of Philosophie Green Dream and a few of my favorite superfoods including the trendy Blue Majik, an extract of spirulina that gives antioxidant support and increases energy.

It’s pure mystic bliss, babes!

We love making family-friendly recipes for you all, but sometimes mama needs a little treat for herself and this beaut is just the answer. This chia includes Ghee, a lactose-free butter. It's a superfood powerhouse for moms who are breastfeeding.

Not to worry, your kids can still get in on this action. This recipe has a yummy dairy-free yogurt blend and Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend for their tiny growing bodies. Everyone’s going to at least want a bite. It’s too beautiful not to try!

Gather This:

2 cups coconut milk

½ cup chia seed

1 tsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tbsp Green Bee Honey

1 tsp Blue Majik

½ tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp Fourth & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee

1 cup Coyo Coconut Yoghurt


Do This:

Throw all ingredients (except the Coyo yogurt) into a pot on the stove top on medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly, turn down to low heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let it cool. Grab a pretty cup, layer ½ the chia pudding mixture on the bottom of the cup, top with yogurt, then add the second ½ of the mixture. Repeat layering process if there's extra!

Kombucha Cocktail Recipe

The sun is out, Monarch butterflies are migrating and flowers are blooming - spring is upon us!! Next week we welcome the Spring Equinox and celebrate a week of rebirth and growth. It’s a beautiful time of the year and this weekend is a wonderful time to get together with friends, have a potluck and get crafty with your drinks!


If you’re planning to celebrate St. Patty’s this weekend, enjoy a drink that not only tastes good but is also much better for your body than a green beer from the bar down the street! I love mixing up healthy cocktails so I can still enjoy the festivities but not completely destroy all the good work I’ve done to keep my body well-nourished.


This kombucha cocktail is made with my favorite Health-Ade Kombucha and Berry Bliss which gives your body a healthy dose of probiotics, antioxidants and vitamin C! You can either make this a mocktail without the liquor or a cocktail with a bit of Tito’s vodka. Listen to your intuition! You can still live a life of beautiful balance and a commitment to your health and wellbeing while still enjoying a drink here and there. It’s about intention.


Gather This:

1 bottle of Health-Ade Kombucha (we used Pink Lady Apple)

1 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 oz. (shot) of Tito's vodka (optional)

1 tsp agave nectar or Berry Bee Honey


Do This:

In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine 1 oz of vodka, 2 oz of kombucha, 1 tbsp Berry Bliss, and 1 tsp of agave nectar or Berry Bee Honey. Shake until well-chilled, then strain into a glass with fresh ice. Fill to the top with kombucha, stir briefly and ENJOY! For a mocktail, do everything minus the vodka. Still just as refreshing and tasty!!

Berry Bliss Zoats Recipe

While zucchini oats or “zoats” don’t sound all that tasty, this recipe has proven to be a big hit! Zucchinis are one of those miracle veggies that have a more neutral flavor to them and can really be added seamlessly to any dishing while still adding a ton of nutrient quality to your meal. I love using zucchinis whenever I can.


I love adding in superfoods to this dish because it really transforms it. The Berry Bliss makes it perfect for the mornings with your superfood coffee.


Gather This:

½ cup almond milk

⅓ cup of rolled oats

¼ cup of shredded zucchini

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp Flax Seeds

1 tsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

A dash of cinnamon

A dash of nutmeg (optional)

1 tbsp any nut butter of your choice (for topping)


Do This:

Shred the zucchini either by pulsing it in a blend or with a cheese grater.


Measure ⅓ cup of rolled oats and place them in a pan on the stove. Add in the almond milk.


Add ¼ cup of shredded zucchini, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to the oats.


Turn the heat up to high. Once it starts boiling, turn it down to a simmer and place a lid on. Cook until all the liquid is absorbed, stirring every so often so it doesn’t stick.


If the mixture is too sticky feel free to add more almond milk or water. Once done cooking, turn off the heat and add Berry Bliss.


Add to a bowl and serve with the toppings of your choice! I love adding nut butter, Coconut Bliss Coconut Butter, strawberries, goji berries and maybe a bit of honey.

I can't survive a morning if I don’t get my caffeine fix and my go-to is this amazing superfood coffee. It has all I need to wake me up and fuel my body for the day. Ingredients:

1 cup high-quality coffee (I love cold-brew or brewed Chameleon!)

1 cup homemade cashew mylk (recipe here)

1 tbsp Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tbsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter or almond butter

1 scoop Ancient Nutrition Collagen

1 pack Four Sigmatic Lion’s Mane

Optional: 1 tsp CAP Beauty The 4pm: Reawaken & Restore and 1 tsp SunPotion He Shou Wu

Sweetener: organic honey or Green Bee Honey


Directions:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend! Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Roasted Golden Salad Recipe

Have you treated yourself kindly this heart-opening month of love? Yes, your family and friends deserve all the hugs, kisses and sweets because they matter so, but don’t forget the number one love since day one, YOU. Treating yourself with love and kindness doesn’t only mean desserts, facials, massages and anything else super extra but rather, simply caring about what you do to your body, mind and spirit throughout the day. Are you continuing to show up for yourself and treat yourself with gentle compassion?


Try it today. Go to your favorite workout, drink a ton of water, go on a walk, and make something delicious, satisfying and loaded with nutrients. I love tossing a delicious superfood salad especially one filled with color and my favorite veggies.


Beets are a great veggie to incorporate into your salads because they have this subtle earthiness, satisfying crunch and full of so much color. Golden beets are a bit sweeter and softer than traditional red beets - making them so easy to work with in the kitchen. Beets are a great source of fiber, potassium, iron and folic acid. Golden beets also contain high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants. Combine with our Green Dream Savory Blend for a little extra kick + healing nutrients and you have the perfect pair.


Gather This:

Bundle of organic arugula

Roasted golden beets (salt, pepper, EVOO, and Green Dream savory)

¼ C dried cranberries

½ C pecans

1 tsp Green Dream Savory Blend

Optional: Green Dream Pesto

Do This:

Preheat oven to 375°. Remove the tops from the beets and wrap in foil to prevent the golden beets from turning purple. Roast for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the beets are tender.


While the beets roast, make the pesto.


When the beets are cool enough to handle, remove from foil and rub with a towel to remove the skins. Cut in thin slices and toss with salt, pepper, EVOO and Green Dream Savory Blend.


Toss all your salad ingredients and serve with pesto on the side. ENJOY!

Pesto Spaghetti Squash Recipe

I decided to go super simple this week and show you all one of my favorite go-to dinner recipes, spaghetti squash. This is so easy, tastes super satisfying and is great for the whole fam! It’s definitely one of my recipes to whip up in a pinch - it’s all gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan.


You won’t even miss the carbs and spaghetti squash has WAY more nutritional value, plus it has a healthy dose of vitamin A and vitamin C. I love tossing the baked squash with a homemade Green Dream pesto made from walnuts, parsley and garlic that has the power to boost your immune system and reduce blood pressure.


Get in on this!!

Gather This:

FOR THE “PASTA” -

1 spaghetti squash

1 tbsp EVOO

S + P

FOR THE PESTO:

1 bunch of organic parsley

½ C walnuts

3 cloves garlic

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tbsp of nutritional yeast

S + P

¾ C EVOO

1 tbsp Green Bee Honey

1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

Optional Toppings: Sprinkle of Green Dream Savory Blend and hemp seeds

Do This:

Preheat oven to 350°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise (carefully!) then scrape out the seeds and fiber.


Place each half on the baking sheet and pour 1 tbsp EVOO into each half. Spread oil all over the cut side of the squash and sprinkle with salt + pepper. Turn the squash cut side down and bake for 30-35 minutes until tender.


While the squash bakes, combine all pesto ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.


Remove the squash from the oven, and let it cool enough to scrape with a fork. It will quickly + effortlessly turn into “spaghetti” on your plate.


Add the sauce, mix and top with Green Dream Savory Blend and hemp seeds. ENJOY!

I shared one of my FAV latte recipes last Friday, a high-vibe matcha latte. I love a good matcha latte with some added Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend to start my day, especially if I’m taking a break from coffee. Matcha is a beautiful powdered green tea with a ton of antioxidant and nutritional properties. It’s been around for hundreds of years and is extremely healing and detoxifying. In one cup of matcha, you’re drinking about three times the antioxidants of regular green tea. Matcha also supports healthy brain health and boosts your metabolism, making this drink a Philosophie cleanse-friendly recipe.

Sip in the early mornings as your preparing for your day or during your morning meditation. I love enjoying a cup while I’m journaling before the craziness of my day. It instantly lifts my mood.
