Delicious Superfood Granola Bar Recipe (never buy them again!)
Hello Philosophie community! This is Adrienne, Sophie's assistant - such a pleasure working with the Philosophie Team and working with an amazing company with a clear, uplifting purpose!! I feel so blessed, full of gratitude, and so lucky to learn from them (not just about the company, but about life!). I am so honored to be included in their circle, be in their presence, and trusted with everything. Wow! I'm always inspired in so many ways, one of which is ...eating healthy, clean, and right ..(i try MOST of the time). I've been a health-nut for a number of years, but Philosophie takes it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL!! and now, i'm so excited to share my philosophie experiences with you!
I tried these TRULY AMAZING homemade granola bars with our Philosophie Superfood Berry bliss added!!! and oh my gosh!!! they were SOOO GOOD, i felt like i was eating candy! (but very healthy candy:)). Such a treat - i could pretty much eat the whole bag...so i would recommend putting them in small ziplock bags so they are already portioned for the day. An easy-to-carry snack AND superfood boost all in one!
Berry bliss includes amazing, HIGHLY nutritious ingredients (camu-camu- the highest antioxidant fruit in the world, acai, goji, pomegranate, mangosteen and sprouted brown rice protein). A snack that will give you the long-lasting energy and vitality to continue through your day! You all are already beautiful, but maintain your beauty from the inside out with the right superfoods! And honestly, they tasted MUCH better than other granola bars in the stores and I know for sure I'm getting my nutrients with clean, simple ingredients.
GATHER:
-
Process dates in a food processor until small bits remain (about 1 minute). It should form a “dough” like consistency. (mine rolled into a ball)
-
Optional step: Toast your oats in a 350 degree oven for 15-ish minutes or until slightly golden brown. Otherwise, leave them raw
-
Place oats, almonds, walnuts, dates, cranberries, salt and Berry Bliss in a bowl – set aside.
-
Warm maple syrup and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir and pour over oat mixture and then mix, breaking up the dates to disperse throughout.
-
Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to an 8×8 dish or other small pan lined with plastic wrap or parchment paper so they lift out easily. (A loaf pan might work, but will yield thicker bars.)
-
Press down until uniformly flattened. Cover with parchment or plastic wrap, and let set in fridge or freezer for 15-20 minutes to harden.
-
Remove bars from pan and chop into 10 even bars. Store in an airtight container for up to a few days.
