Berry Chia Jam Recipe
At Philosophie HQ, we’re adding a bit of sweetness to our Toast Tuesday with a homemade Berry Chia Jam. It’s berry season and we’re all about that extra flava, plus when you have leftover berries + fruits the best thing you can do is turn them into a spreadable jam. It’s super easy!
For this jam, we used Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend combined with Chia. Chia seeds are loaded with protein, fiber and omega-3s. It adds a great balance to your diet especially if you’re vegan/vegetarian or a soon-to-be mama loading up on the extra protein.
Gather This:
1 carton organic Raspberries
1 tsp of fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp Chia seed
1 tbsp Cacao Bee Honey
½ tsp Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend
OPTIONAL: A sprinkling of your favorite granola, we love Kitchfix Grain Free
Do This:
Combine 1 cup of raspberries on medium to low heat, with 1 tsp of the lemon juice and 1 tbsp of Chia seed, stirring constantly, for about 3-4 minutes, until the raspberries soften and form a jam like texture. Add Cacao Bee Honey, and Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend and mix well. Transfer to a serving dish and top with a little extra sprinkling of Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend and granola! Spread on any yummy baked good or thick slice of bread for glowing, sweet goodness!
