30 Day Detox Yoga Challenge

We are very excited to announce a partnership with Udaya.com, bringing you a 30 DAY YOGA DETOX CHALLENGE.  For 30 days you will be taking one Udaya yoga class per day and enjoying some of the finest super food recipes available. There will be 5 winners in this contest and each winner will receive 1 yoga warrior DVD set and Philosphie Super Foods starter kit.

 

Here’s how you qualify for a chance to win one of the grand prizes:

1.  The Before Photo:  On Day 1 of the challenge (Sept. 22) take a photo of yourself on your yoga mat with your Philosophie Smoothie in hand and post the photo to at least one of your social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter).  Make sure to include the challenge hashtags #udayayoga and #philosophiesuperfoods.  The more social media accounts you post to the better your chances to win.

2.  Daily Post for 30 Days:  Post one photo per day with accompanying hashtags #udayayoga and #philosophiesuperfoods. The post must include either a photo of you doing one of the poses from that day’s yoga class or a photo of you enjoying your Philosophie SuperFood Smoothie after you’ve taken the class.
3.  The After Photo:  On Day 30 of the challenge (Oct. 20) take another photo of yourself on your yoga mat and your Philosophie Smoothie in hand, and post the photo to at least one of your social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter).  Make sure to include the challenge hashtags #udayayoga and #philosophiesuperfoods.  This is your final post!  Extra points for creativity here!

 

Nutrition Tips

checked-checkbox-xxl  To aid with the cleansing process, and get better results, make a goal to drink as much water as possible.  You want 1/2 your body weight in ounce of water each day. Every morning, try to start your day with a warm glass of water and add fresh lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper.  It will get things “moving.”
checked-checkbox-xxl  You can add 4oz of lean meats (turkey, fish, chicken), to lunch and dinner, some or all of the days.
checked-checkbox-xxl  If you drink coffee, you’ll want to start to wean yourself.  Start to drink half of what you normally drink 5 days prior to the cleanse.  2 days before you’ll want to be drinking 1/4 as much, or none at all.  You can replace your coffee with decaf or even better, Green Tea.
Start to wean yourself off of processed foods, and any sugar other than natural sugar at least 2 days prior to beginning the cleanse.
checked-checkbox-xxl  Eat as much as you feel you need to.  Do not starve yourself and at the same time, stop eating before you feel stuffed.  Even if one of your goals is to lose weight, it is especially important for you to have enough beautiful, alkalized foods to neutralize and assist the elimination of toxins and old debris.  One of the biggest mistakes that people make during a cleanse is to not eat enough.  You should eat between meals, and are encouraged to choose snacks from the suggested list below.  This is not about food deprivation.
