Pumpkin Spice Superfood Oats Bowl

Oatmeal is my go-to brekkie most mornings because it’s easy to make and I can add all of my favorite ingredients and superfoods to make it a nutrient-dense, energizing meal. I had the honor of meeting Bob of Bob’s Red Mill up in Portland and he is just as cheerful and inspiring as he looks! I’ve been a fan of his oats and grains for YEARS so seeing how it was all created and hearing the story behind the brand from the man himself was a real treat. 


It inspired me to create this super easy oats bowl using the Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free instant oat cups. For any mamas or those on-the-go, these little cups are life-savers! I added in a healthy scoop of our limited-time Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend which instantly transformed this oat bowl into a pumpkin spice treat full of grounding adaptogens and healing superfoods. 


This oat bowl is topped with all the goods from Goji berries and golden berries to granola and bee pollen. Finish with a drizzle of beautifying Berry Bee Honey to help boost my immunity during the cold & flu season. Did you know that raw honey like that found in Berry Bee Honey has been shown to be as effective as a common cough suppressant? Combined with Berry Bliss which is loaded with camu camu, one of the world’s most potent sources of vitamin C and the sickness doesn’t stand a chance! 

Gather This:

1 Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free oat cup

1 tbsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

1 tsp Berry Bee Honey

Handful of Goji berries

Handful of gluten-free granola

Handful of golden berries

1 tsp bee pollen


Do This:

Cook oats as directed and mix in both the honey and Fall Vibes. Top with berries, granola and bee pollen then finish with a drizzle of Berry Bee Honey. ENJOY!

We haven’t done a Philosophie Babe post here on the blog in a LONG time, but when our babe Amrit-Sadhana of Body Bliss Life shared this amazing pumpkin bread loaf we just HAD to share. With Thanksgiving behind us, what better way to use up the last of your pumpkin leftovers? AND..we still have a few bags left of our specially and lovingly blended Fall Vibes Superfood Blend to sprinkle all over this treat. 


Since Fall hit, I have felt a little more inspiration float back into my life. It feels so good to head into the kitchen with an idea in my head and just let myself do my thing. So in honor of this cool weather and pumpkin spice I created an adaptogenic (optional) Cinnamon Swirl Pumpkin Spice Bread. Yeah… you heard that right… it’s kind of insane. Here’s how I did it.


It’s warm, nourishing, hormone-balancing and gluten-free. So delicious and so perfect for those crisp mornings along with an adaptogenic latte.

 

Gather This:

WET INGREDIENTS - 

1 cup pumpkin puree

½ cup coconut sugar or lakanto monk fruit sweetener 

½ cup milk of choice

¼ cup coconut oil, melted

2 eggs or the equivalent of an egg replacer

1 tsp vanilla

DRY INGREDIENTS -

1 ½ cups gluten-free oat flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp ground ginger

¼ tsp ground cardamom 

⅛ tsp allspice

¼ tsp salt

TOPPING - 

¼ cup oats

¼ cup coconut sugar

2 tbsp butter or coconut oil

1 tbsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp ground ginger

¼ tsp ground cardamom

Do This:

Preheat the oven to 350℉ and grease a bread pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and fold into wet ingredients. In a small bowl combine everything for the topping except the oats and butter. 

Pour half the batter into the bread pan. Sprinkle ½ the topping mixture over the batter. Pour remaining batter into pan. Using a knife, fold the batter to create the swirls. Add the oats and butter or oil to the remaining spice mixture. Break up with fingers until it’s crumbly. Top the batter with crumble and place in the oven. Back for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Place on a cooling rack and allow to cool for 30 minutes.

Though the Fall Blend is not required for this recipe, it’s a fun addition as it adds immunity-building and hormone-supporting Ashwagandha, bio-available vitamin E and sweetness from the spices.

Pumpkin Spice Gratitude Cake

It’s gratitude week and Thanksgiving is this Thursday! How are you celebrating this week? Can you give your body a little more love + gratitude by cooking with intention? It can be so easy to get caught up in the holiday and the million little things to do, so finding time to slow down when you can and act with presence immediately bring more love into your body + soul. We have so much to be humbled by. Remind yourself throughout the day how wonderfully sweet your life is (almost as good as the food you’re blessed to enjoy!).


We decided to make a Simple Mills SUPERFOOD cake in honor of Thanksgiving and to celebrate how grateful we are for YOU! It turned out amazing and tastes insanely good. 


Simple Mills Pumpkin Muffin & Bread Mix is super easy to make and cuts your cook/prep time in half (compared to making the cake from scratch). It also uses clean ingredients and made with authentic pumpkin. It contains coconut sugar, almond flour and arrowroot. We’re all about balance and this mix makes it easy.


Loaded with Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend for an extra fall flavor + adaptogens, this cake is gluten-free, full of superfoods and family-friendly!

Gather This:

FOR THE CAKE - 

1 box Simple Mills Pumpkin Muffin & Bread Mix

3 eggs

¾ cup water

3 tbsp oil 

1 tbsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

Simple Mills Vanilla Frosting

OR 

FOR THE FROSTING

1 cup vegan butter

1 ½  cups confectioners sugar

1 tsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

¼ cup nut milk

¼ cup vegan or raw chocolate (melted)

2 tsp vanilla extract

Coconut flakes


Do This:

Preheat oven to 350℉. Combine wet ingredients in a bowl then add in dry ingredients. Spoon batter into a lightly greased pan (make it a heart pan for fun!). Bake for 20-30 min. 

While the cake is baking, add all of your dry frosting ingredients into a small bowl. Then add the vanilla, butter, melted chocolate and slowly add your milk. Whisk or beat until fluffy! And you can always add a little extra milk if the mixture is too thick, or a little extra Cacao Magic if it is too thin.

Berry Immunity Smoothie for the Whole Family

As the weather continues to dip toward cooler temperatures we’re much more susceptible to colds + flu. Our #1 trick for defending + beating sickness here at Philosophie is flooding our body with superfoods. 


The kiddos love berries in their smoothie and it makes a super simple and tasty smoothie the whole family can enjoy! This berry smoothie is super yummy and ultra-nourishing, then when you add in a spoonful of Berry Bliss, you've got quite the punch of antioxidants + immunity magic!


The healing Berry Bee Honey adds a bit of sweetness and natural antibiotic properties, while the Coconut Magic brings in healthy MCT fats + adds a lovely creaminess. And with its high vitamin C levels, Berry Bliss packs in a load of antioxidants, which combat free radicals and keep our immune system cells safe. 

Serves: up to 7 


Gather This:

3 cups frozen berries

1 cup frozen banana

2 tbsp Berry Bee Honey

2 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

2 tbsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter

1 tbsp Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

2 cups Ripple Plant-Based Milk (or any nut mylk of your choice)

1 tbsp bee pollen (inside & top)


Do This:

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour out for your family and top with a sprinkling of bee pollen. Sip and enjoy!!

Cacao Covered Roasted Almonds

These cacao covered roasted almonds are a delicious snack you can feel good about. We LOVE snacks and are always on the hunt for more fun, delicious and creative ways to snack that also nourishes the body. These almonds give just enough energy to power through the rest of the day. The combination of almonds, olive oil, salt and our energizing, protein-rich Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend make them extra delicious.


They’re super easy to make and because of the oil, they soak up a lot of the Cacao Magic flavor when they come out of the oven. 

Gather This:

1 cup almonds

1 tsp olive oil

1 tsp Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

Sprinkle of salt

Optional: drizzle of honey for added sweetness


Do This:

Roast almonds in olive oil for 10-15 min at 375℉. Once cool, toss them with Cacao Magic and finish with a drizzle with Cacao Bee Honey (for added sweetness). Store in a glass container in the fridge. ENJOY!

Gooey, Tasty Pumpkin Chocolate Oat Muffins

Don’t mind us, just cooking pumpkin-everything like it’s never going out of style! When we decided to create our limited Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend we immediately started imagining all the cozy, autumn-inspired dishes we could create. And these chocolate covered, oat-based pumpkin muffins barely didn’t even last a full day in the Jaffe house.


They’re deceptively more healthy than they look as they’re made entirely gluten-free and sweetened with real maple syrup. We topped them with dark chocolate which is said to be one of the best sources of antioxidants and can improve blood flow. Plus, they’re made with pumpkin which is actually a superfood! Enjoy these babies in the morning or as a delicious afternoon snack. Really, any time of the day because they’re just that good. 


No pumpkin muffin is complete without traditional warming spices which is why the Fall Vibes Superfood Blend is PERFECT for these treats that smell & taste just like fall. 

Gather This:

¾ cup pumpkin puree (buy it or make your own with sugar pumpkins!)

½ cup nut butter (we used almond butter)

2 large eggs 

¼ cup pure maple syrup

¾ cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups gluten-free oats

1 tsp baking powder

1 tbsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

¼ tsp salt

⅓ cup dark chocolate chips 

Drizzle of Berry Bee Honey


Do This:

Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a muffin pan with liners and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, nut butter, eggs, maple syrup, almond milk and vanilla until well combined. Then, stir in the dry ingredients: oats, baking powder, Fall Vibes and salt. Stir well to combine. Finish by adding in ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips into batter.

Evenly distribute the muffin batter in the liners. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top and bake for 25-30 minutes. Drizzle with Berry Bee Honey to help with immunity and add a touch of extra sweetness, if desired. ENJOY!

Immune-Boosting Pumpkin Spice Truffles

We’re huge fans of shareable desserts and snacks over here at Philosophie HQ! These little bites of fall are super tasty and delightfully nutritious as it’s loaded with my favorite autumn favorites, immunizing Berry Bee Honey and our limited-time Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend


These truffles are really easy to make and filled with super clean ingredients. We used cashews as the base which supports heart health + weight loss and dates which is a great source of antioxidants and is great for sugar balance (perfect snack or treat during the holiday season!). 


This no-bake recipe is a must if you are all about pumpkin spice desserts as much as we are!

Gather This:

1½ cup cashews

5 dates

1 tbsp Fall Vibes Pumpkin Pie Superfood Blend

2 tbsp Berry Bee Honey

1 tbsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter


Do This:

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor for 1 min then roll into tiny truffle shapes. Pop into the freezer for ½ hour or until hardened. Drizzle with Berry Bee Honey and enjoy! Keep stored in the fridge.
