I was craving a big bowl of greens in smoothie form, but we were fresh out of greens!! What’s a girl to do? Between the açai, the matcha, and the Green Dream...I think we had our bases covered! It may sound like a weird combo, but that’s usually when the magic happens! It was the perfect post workout treat!
You know that saying, “Abs are made in the kitchen?” Well, it’s really true. You can work out all day every day, but if you eat like crap, you aren’t going to see results. Simple as that!! People ask me all the time if I work out like a maniac...The truth is that I don’t. I consider myself lucky if I can realistically get a good workout in 4-5 times a week. Honestly, that’s plenty. I’m a very active person, I walk whenever I can, and chasing after my little ones definitely keeps me in shape. The one thing that I consistently do and can attribute to helping me achieve my fitness goals is superfoods! Incorporating greens and superfoods whenever I can, even when I can’t get a workout in, is really what keeps me looking and feeling amazing!
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup nut milk
- 1 sachet of Sambazon Supergreens Açai
- ½ frozen mango
- ½ scoop Vanilla Protein
- 1 tsp matcha
- 1 tbsp Green Dream
- Blend all of the ingredients in a high speed blender
- Add the smoothie mixture to a bowl and top with your favorite goodies!
