Dreamy Superfood Sundae

Dreamy Superfood Sundae

I made this Superfood Sunday Sundae last Sunday. Get it?? Sunday...Sundae? Anyway, I may have partied a littttle too much last Friday at my husband’s 40th birthday party (happy birthday Adi!!). So, I wanted something really rejuvenating and refreshing, I wanted to inject a lot of superfoods into my body, and I wanted it to taste good at the same time. So, we have the Sunday Sundae.

Normally I would do just 1 tablespoon of Berry Bliss, but I went all out on this one. I wanted a heavy dose of vitamin C. Since each tablespoon of Berry Bliss has over 1000% of your Daily Vitamin C requirement, I think I covered my bases. The healthy fats from the coconut butter, coconut oil, and coconut flakes will help deliver all of those nutrients right to your cells. I know I always say this, but DON’T be afraid of healthy fats. All of these beautiful foods that are naturally high in good fats like avocados, nuts, coconut...EAT THEM! Full fat ALL. THE. WAY. It keeps you full, it keeps you happy, and it helps you absorb all of those other nutrients from the smoothie. Our raw whey adds a delicious layer of sweet vanilla flavor. It’s completely raw and grass-fed, and is unlike any whey that you’ve ever had. It’s super high quality and lactose friendly. The dragonfruit makes this smoothie the prettiest EVER!! I can hardly stand it. Last but not least, the medicinal mushrooms are totally optional but have tons of health benefits. I’m especially loving pearl lately, as it’s super good for beautifying and giving you that glow from the inside out!

Gather This:

  • 1/2 packet frozen pitaya/dragonfruit
  • 2 T Berry Bliss
  • 2 T dried coconut flakes
  • 4 frozen figs
  • 1 T Berry Bliss Coconut Butter
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla grass-fed raw whey
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • 1 t pearl
  • 1 t astragalus
  • 1 t mucuna pruriens
  • Ice
  • toppings of choice! I did blueberries, bee pollen, shredded coconut, raw buckwheat cereal, and lots of runny almond butter!

Do This:

  1. Blend all of the ingredients in a high speed blender for 1 minute
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite goodies! Make the smoothie your canvas and let your creative side run free!
