You guys!! Not to brag or anything, but I think a strike of genius hit when this recipe was created. You think I’m kidding...but this stuff is seriously a game changer. If you’re like me, you like a little crunch to your smoothies. Unfortunately, that “crunch” usually comes in the form of packaged granola or store-bought cereals...not anymore!
The kids love eating cereal for breakfast. It’s such a quick, convenient, and classic breakfast. However, I hate how processed cereal usually is--even the expensive ones from Whole Foods! This cereal is great because it’s not processed at ALL. In fact, it’s completely raw. This cereal isn’t baked in oil, covered in sugar, died with fake coloring, or puffed into some weird (but cute) shape. Try it soaked overnight in almond milk for muesli, as a topping for your favorite smoothie bowl, or just over almond milk straight up as a cereal replacement! Add fresh berries and coconut yogurt and you’re good to go!
I love this recipe even more because you can totally make it your own! Add your favorite nuts, dried fruits, seeds, superfoods, etc. You can really make this with whatever goodies you happen to have in your pantry. This recipe just happens to be my favorite combo!
Gather This:
- 1 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
- 2 tbsp Berry Bliss
- ¼ cup goji berries
- ¼ cup coconut shreds
- ¼ cup golden berries
- ¼ cup cacao nibs
- ¼ cup mulberries
- ¼ cup cashews
- 3 dried figs or dates, diced
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Do This:
- Grab a big mixing bowl
- Add the oats in as a base
- Add the rest of the ingredients and eyeball it to make sure you’ve added enough of everything
- Store in an airtight mason jar or container, and store in your pantry
