Blue Majik Yogurt Bowl

Cancer season may be over, but summer is still in full swing! The bright sun in the sky calls for bright colors in our food, which is why we love adding Blue Majik to our recipes. Blue Majik is a type of spirulina that includes a protein called C-phycocyanin, which has been shown to contain tons of antioxidants and help fight inflammation. It also gives everything it touches a gorgeous blue tint that shines bright in the sunlight. Perfect for someone like me, who loves eating as many colors as possible. 

Like traditional spirulina powder, Blue Majik has somewhat of a “green” taste, so it pairs well with strongly sweet and tart flavors like blueberry, pomegranate, and acai. This yogurt bowl - made with Forage Project's amazing dairy-free cashewgurt - welcomes Blue Majik by incorporating it into all of our favorite add-ins. Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend and Blue Majik are stirred into the yogurt base, then topped with bee pollen, coconut flakes, and your favorite assortment of berries or seeds. 

If you can’t get your hands on Blue Majik, you can still make this yummy yogurt bowl with regular spirulina. Add a little blue food coloring to the yogurt base and stir for that electric blue hue - the end product will be just as healthy and look just as good!  

Gather This:

1 cup Forager Project's dairy-free cashewgurt

1 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tbsp Bee pollen

1 tbsp Coconut shreds

¼ cup Assorted berries (Blackberries and Blueberries work best) 

½ tsp Blue Majik Powder 

Do This:

In your favorite bowl, stir the cashewgurt, Berry Bliss, and Blue Majik together until the whole thing has a swirling, blue color. Top with bee pollen, coconut shreds, and berries. Enjoy!

Candy Corn Inspired Fall Treat

While we’re loving our seasonal superfood + adaptogen blend, Fall Vibes in our morning coffee the possibilities for this pumpkin spice superfood blend are ENDLESS. 

These candy corn inspired fall treats are made with chickpeas which are high in protein and pumpkin which is highly nutritious and loaded with vitamin A, as well as our Fall Vibes blend made with healing medicinal herbs, antioxidant-rich superfoods, plant-based sweetener, and traditional fall spices. Make sure you save yourself one of these babies before giving them to your kids; they won’t last long!

Gather This:


1 cup chickpeas ⁣

1 tbsp maple syrup⁣

1 tbsp nut butter of choice

1 tsp Fall Vibes


1 cup pumpkin purée ⁣

1 tsp maple syrup ⁣

2 tbsp almond flour⁣


½ cup cashews (soaked overnight)⁣

2 tbsp lemon juice (½ a lemon)⁣

1 tsp sugar of choice

Do This:

Soak cashews over night.⁣

Rinse and drain chickpeas.⁣

In a food processor, make the base. Press into silicon muffin tins (used 4).⁣

Freeze while you make the next layer!⁣

Make pumpkin layer in food processor and add to the base.⁣

Freeze again while you make cashew layer!⁣

Use food processor to make the top cashew layer. ⁣

Freeze for at least an hour before cutting and enjoying!⁣

Keep in freezer (makes about 8 servings)!⁣

Easy Superfood Pumpkin Spice Latte

One of our favorite ways to use our seasonal pumpkin spice superfood blend, Fall Vibes is in our morning coffee. We’re sharing an easy superfood pumpkin spice latte recipe that’s delightfully sweet and so much better for you than your go-to $5 latte!

 If I had to describe what the flavors of fall would be, I would use this blend. It’s creamy, light and sweet that doesn’t leave you tired, heavy or achy from added sugar. It’s entirely vegan and all organic. You know, only the good stuff. 

What’s in a Pumpkin Spice Latte?

In the PSLs you find at your local coffee shop you’ll find ingredients that aren’t so great for the body and often include LOTS of sugar and sweeteners. Making it at home meals you CHOOSE the ingredients and can sub out any sugars or sweeteners for better options.

Our seasonal FALL VIBES blend is only available for a limited time with a limited amount in stock so make sure to get your hands on it. It has a shelf life for a year so you can celebrate fall all year long!

Gather This:

1 cup almond milk

2 tbsp pumpkin puree canned or fresh

2 tsp maple syrup

1 tsp Fall Vibes

1 tsp Cacao Magic (optional)

½ cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots of espresso

Do This:

Combine almond milk, pumpkin, maple syrup, Fall Vibes and Cacao Magic (optional) in a small saucepan over a medium low heat. Whisk everything together and as soon as the milk begins to simmer, shut off the heat and transfer the milk mixture to a blender.

Add a cup of strong brewed coffee to the blender and blend for 10 seconds or until light and frothy. (You can also add the coffee right to the pot and skip the blender but the blender does add a bit of extra froth to the top.)

Pour into your favorite mug. Top with fresh cinnamon and enjoy!

Persimmon Pumpkin Bread

Fall is here and we are LOVING making all our favorite fall recipes. Have you tried persimmon? They make an incredible addition to pies, smoothies, breads, taste great raw and so good added into a nice cream with Cacao Magic and Fall Vibes!

Persimmons have incredibly high fiber contents which means that they promote a healthy digestive tract and will keep you feeling full longer. The bright red-orange color of the persimmon is due to high levels of disease-fighting phytonutrients and nourishing antioxidants like vitamins A, C, and K, all of which prevent cellular damage and reduce the signs of aging. Persimmons are also a good source of betulinic acid, a compound that has been shown to have anti-tumor properties!

We’re loving this jack-o-lantern shaped persimmon pumpkin bread created by the insanely talented Danielle of @cacaoforcoconuts_ using our seasonal Fall Vibes. Enjoy this delicious fall treat!

Gather This:

2 cups quick oats blended to flour⁣

⅓ cup carob powder (or cocoa)⁣

2 ripe bananas⁣

⅓ cup pumpkin purée ⁣

1 tsp Fall Vibes

1 tsp baking soda⁣

Do This:

Combine everything in a food processor.⁣
Preheat oven to 350°F.⁣
Spray or line a dish with parchment paper!⁣
Top with persimmons (make them little pumpkins)⁣
Bake for 23-25 minutes until bread is firm!⁣
Cool and enjoy!⁣

Apple Pie Autumn Superfood Smoothie

It’s apple season! We have a super easy apple pie autumn smoothie for you that feels and tastes like fall. We added our seasonal superfood blend, Fall Vibes for this dreamy smoothie, which instantly transformed this smoothie into an autumn treat full of grounding adaptogens and healing superfoods. We love the California fall feeling this smoothie creates, don't you agree? 

While apples may be one of the most commonplace fruits to be found in the grocery store, they still have tons of extraordinary health benefits! Apples are an excellent source of vitamin C, which can help boost the body’s immune system and ward off illness during the cold season. They are also full of fiber which helps keep you feeling full longer and makes apples an excellent food to keep on hand if you’re trying to maintain a healthy diet.

Enjoy this smoothie in the mornings before you start your day or as an afternoon snack! We can’t wait to hear what you think!

Gather This:

2 apples (cut for easy blending)

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

½ cup greek plain yogurt or dairy-free yogurt

½ frozen banana

1-2 tbsp Fall Vibes

Do This:

Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and to your desired consistency.

Taste and add some Cacao Bee Honey if you want to sweeten.

Pour into tall glasses, sprinkle with some cinnamon, and enjoy!

Superfood Pumpkin Spice Bliss Balls

We’re huge fans of shareable desserts and snacks over here at Philosophie! These bites of fall are super tasty and delightfully nutritious as they’re loaded with my favorite autumn favorites, dates, pecans, pumpkin and our limited-time Fall Vibes Superfood Blend.

These bliss balls by our Philosophie Babe Danielle (@cacaoforcoconuts_) are breakfast, snack and dessert all in one. They are sweetened with dates and packed with nuts, seeds and pumpkin of course. 

This no-bake recipe is a must if you are all about pumpkin spice desserts as much as we are!

Gather This:

10 medjool dates (~1 cup), pitted and soaked

1 cup raw pecans (or walnuts)

½ cup ground seeds (I used flax and pumpkin)

2 tbsp maca 

½ cup pumpkin purée 

1-2 tbsp Fall Vibes

⅓ - ½ cup oats (depending on the consistency you want)

Optional toppings: chocolate and flakey salt

Do This:

Pit and soak dates for ~30 minutes to soften.

Add dates to a food processor or any mixer. Pulse/mix to paste.

Add in pecans (or walnut), seeds, maca, pumpkin purée and Fall Vibes. Mix until everything is incorporated together. Scrape edges as needed.

Gradually add in oats until consistency is where you like it.

Roll into balls of desired size (makes ~ 12).

Optional: Melt chocolate and drizzle on top. Finish them off with sea salt.

Let the bliss balls set in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a softer bite or in the freezer for more of a chewy one!

Superfood Coffee Recipe Round Up

Gather This:

1 cup high-quality coffee (I love cold-brew or brewed)

1 cup homemade cashew mylk (recipe here)

Do This:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend! Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

If you’re looking to switch it up this cold brew recipe uses our Coconut Magic Coconut Butter to help slow down the absorption of caffeine so it doesn’t make you feel anxious or jittery like coffee alone.

Gather This:

1 cup of cold brew of choice

¼ cup coconut creamer or full fat coconut canned organic milk

1 tsp Cacao Magic Superfood Blend, Cacao Bee Honey and 1 tbsp Cacao Magic Coconut Butter (buy all 3 in our Superfood Coffee Bundle)

1 scoopful of collagen of choice

Do this:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend! Pour into a mug and think about what you want to create energetically today. What intention do you want to set for the day ahead? What are you grateful for? We have a CHOICE each and every day to see the world and our lives as we want to see them.



Healing Cacao Cinnamon Date Latte

This version is all-around better for you than a traditional latte you’d buy at your local coffee shop and - in our opinion - tastes better too! The only sweetener used is from Medjool dates, a bit of cinnamon (or our Fall Vibes Superfood Blend for warming spices) and vanilla extract. Not only that, but the scoop of Cacao Magic adds protein, magnesium, and mushroom magic from the reishi.

Gather This:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tbsp almond or nut butter (we used pecan butter)

1 large Medjool Date (pitted and roughly chopped)

1 tbsp Cacao Magic Superfood Blend

½ tsp ground cinnamon or 1 tsp Fall Vibes Superfood Blend

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

½ - ½ cup of coffee

Do This:

Brew your favorite coffee blend and set aside. In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients (except the coffee) to a low boil.  Remove from heat and place in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste test and adjust flavors as needed. Pour anywhere from ¼ - ½ cup of coffee in your favorite mug and top with the milk blend. ENJOY!



Magical Cacao Mushroom Coffee Latte

Our go-to superfood coffee recipe kicked up a notch with mushroom coffee, ghee and collagen! We added our Cacao Magic Superfood Blend for a delicious boost of superfood protein and our Cacao Bee Honey for a touch of sweetness and immunity!

Gather This:

1 cups your favorite plant-based milk

1 tsp Cacao Magic Superfood Blend

1 tsp Cacao Bee Honey

1 tbsp Fourth & Heart Ghee (optional but makes it extra creamy; can also sub with coconut butter)

1 packet Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee (or 1-2 cups brewed coffee)

1 scoops collagen 

Do This:

Combine all in a blender then heat on the stovetop. Enjoy!



Cacao Cinnamon Dulce Latte

Cold brew coffee is less acidic than espresso. Secondly, the only sweetener we use is our Cacao Bee Honey. It’s great because not only does it sweeten the drink, but it actually offers nutritional benefits too! Our raw honey strengthens immunity, has antibacterial properties and antioxidants, and aids digestion. Not only that, but the scoop of Cacao Magic adds protein, magnesium, and mushroom magic from the reishi.

Gather This:

1 cup cold brew coffee

1 cup nut milk

1 Tbsp Cacao Magic

2 tsp Cacao Bee Honey

1 tsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Do This:

Blend all of the ingredients in a high speed blender for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then pour over ice

For a frappuccino variation, blend the mixture with a cup of ice added to it

Top with coconut flakes, cinnamon, or whatever your heart desires!!
