August Moon Magic

We are having Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius on August 18th at 2:36 AM Pacific Time. The water bearing Aquarius brings illumination and a feminine vision. Aquarius also signifies the collective: friends, family, and community. In this time, consider how you can better your relationships with friends and family, and consider how to  interact with these people in a positive way. How can you contribute to the greater good while maintaining your truth?

This is the beginning of eclipse season. It is a time that mirrors the changes and growth occurring in our own lives. Things are changing and shifting, and endings are making way for new beginnings. I like to have a sacred moon ceremony for every Full Moon. A Full Moon represents clarity and wholeness. It’s a ritual that helps keep me balanced and allows me to set intentions for the next moon cycle. Full moons are a time when energy is the most potent and strong, and you can use that energy to harness your greatest wishes and hopes. Typically, we create sacred vibe and  gather a group of women to collectively collaborate, set intentions, and play off of each other's strengths. I always use my Magic Moon Satchel to assist with this process. Every bundle is different, but you can expect to find things like crystals, palo santo sticks or sage, soap, essential oils, Chrysalis Water, positive affirmation cards, and more. The items represent the four elements: Fire=Palo Santo+Water=Chrysalis Water+Earth=Crystals+Air=Your Breath. I light the Palo Santo to begin ceremony under the full moon and leave my crystals out under the full moon while I sleep to let them charge and unleash all of that magical energy.
