Toast Tuesday: Berries + Coconut Toast Recipe

When you layer up almond butter, fresh berries, and shredded coconut on a slice of hot toast and then drizzle it with Cacao Bee Honey, you’re in for a treat!

The berries on this high vibrational toast are a fabulous source of antioxidants, which help protect your cells from damage and keep your memory sharp as a tack. They also fight many cancers and are FULL of fiber, so your digestive system can run smoothly.

Almond butter is always my nut butter of choice, and Justin's is one of my go-to brands. They’re all about transparency in the sourcing of their ingredients (and make a hazelnut butter that is out of this world!).

In addition to providing a tropical flair and an oh-so-satisfying crunch, the coconut shavings help keep your heart healthy, courtesy of those good fats. I recommend getting a bag of unsweetened coconut :) 

As the Cacao Bee Honey has cacao powder AND nibs, it’s packed with Iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and calcium. Plus, it’s a natural mood booster and antidepressant–serious magic! Gather This:
  • 1 slice of bread (Udi’s gluten-free bread is delicious!)
  • handful mixed organic berries, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons almond butter of choice (I love Justin’s)
  • 1 teaspoon shredded coconut
  • 1-2 teaspoons Cacao Bee Honey

 

Do This:
Toast your slice of bread, spread on the almond butter, layer on the berries, sprinkle the coconut, and drizzle with Cacao Bee Honey!
