Energizing Mama Smoothie Recipe
If you aren't getting the sleep you wish you were, this green smoothie is for you! Whether you’re a mom or dad, nanny, or student in the midst of finals, whip up this healing drink to increase your energy levels + feel good naturally.
The basil leaves are especially beneficial for those who need to catch up on their zzzzs AND have a big to-do list to tackle—the fragrant herb is packed with powerful antioxidants, stimulates the immune system, and helps relieve stress.
Gather This:
- 1 banana (frozen preferably, add more for sweetness)
- 1 cup kale
- 8 ounces coconut milk (or almond/rice milk)
- 1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
- 1 handful basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Green Bee Honey (or a little more if you’d like it on the sweeter side!)
- Dash of pepper (to help the turmeric absorb!)
- Handful of ice
