While giving the kids an iPad or setting them in front of the TV may seem like the easiest way to keep them entertained, there are so many simple, inexpensive activities that you and children can do together that don't involve a screen. As a mother committed to my children's growth and development, I do my best to find activities for them that are creative, educational, and physically-engaging and here's just a few of my favorites.
