Superfood Toast Tuesday: Toast 8 Ways!

Do you ever feel like one piece of toast just isn’t enough… and two pieces aren't really enough either?. I don’t know about you, but for me, this is a pretty frequent dillema. Especially when I have my little helpers, Kai + Leo, in the kitchen with me. Everybody wants toast, and everybody wants it “their way”. Luckily, if you cut up a bunch of slices of bread and lay out a variety of toppings, it's pretty easy to keep everyone full and happy. 

The idea here is pretty straightforward, but the flavor combinations are unlimited! My favorite part about making these toasts is that it literally takes no time. So if you’re in hurry in the morning, or need a super quick snack, toast is great option to get a quick fix of flavor and nutrients.

 

I’ve played around with ingredients and a variety of our superfood blends. Some pieces are sprinkled with Green Dream, or Berry Bliss for a punch of Vitamin C, and others are drizzled with Green Bee or Berry Bee Honey. Our honeys are a favorite add-on of mine. They are packed with antioxidants + detoxifiers like Spirulina, and they add just a hint of sweetness! 

Here are the varieties that I came up with, but the “toastabilities” are totally endless!

Bases:

1. Kite Hill Cheese, blood orange slices
2. Kite Hill Cheese, raspberries
3. Kite Hill Cheese, kiwis
4. Kite Hill Cheese, dried figs, rosemary
5. Beet Hummus, guava seeds, hemp seeds
6. Beet Hummus, kumquats, watermelon seeds
7. Beet Hummus, walnuts, coconut
8. Beet Hummus, nori sheets, coconut
