After a long weekend, an energizing and detoxifying smoothie is an absolute must. We celebrated baby Noa almost turning ONE! I can’t believe nearly a year has gone since our little babe has been earthside. We had friends and family over who have stood by us for this whole journey for a little house party with lots of yummy food, a magical unicorn cake and even an alpaca!
Easing back into my work after the celebrations of this weekend means soft + gentle mornings and lots of nourishing foods and drinks like this Green Dream Pear Matcha Latte. I love energizing with this vibrant green matcha latte! Matcha provides a boost of energy without leading to the usual caffeine crash that accompanies coffee. This beautiful powder is also incredibly healing and is chockfull of catchechins, which aid in counteracting the harmful effects of free radicals.
1 handful spinach
1 tsp matcha
1 cup water or nut milk
1 handful of ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. To make it hot, heat on the stove after blended. Finish with a swirl of Green Bee Honey and enjoy!!
