I went on Instagram Live earlier this week with my girl Daniella Monet for a high vibe green smoothie creation and it was so good that I wanted to share the recipe with you all! This is a smoothie recipe you can come back to every day for your daily boost of greens and superfoods!
There are really SO many variations you can do with a smoothie that makes it super easy to whip one up based on whatever you have in your kitchen. All you need is a good liquid base (nut milk and coconut water are my go-to's), frozen banana for fiber and creaminess (frozen makes it extra THICK), a nut butter, leafy greens, fresh or frozen fruits and most importantly, your superfoods (Philosophie Superfood + Protein Blends, of course!!) Psst...if you throw in some avocado you’ll basically get ice cream and who doesn’t want that?
Gather This:
Handful of ice
1 cup dairy-free milk
1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
1 banana (frozen)
1-2 handfuls of kale/spinach
*If you’re easing into green smoothies, use ½ handful of kale or spinach, ½ tbsp Green Dream, and 2 frozen bananas.
*If bananas aren't your jam, swap 1 banana for 1 cup of mango or 1 cup of pineapple, or add both!
I’m also including a fun Matcha-Papaya Digestive Green Smoothie recipe if you want to go a little smoothie crazy!
Gather This:
Handful of ice
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ avocado
1 tbsp sugar-free almond butter or nut butter of choice
1 tbsp coconut oil
1-2 handfuls of kale/spinach
1 handful unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt (to complement the flavors)
½ cup fresh/frozen papaya
½ banana
½ tsp matcha powder
Do This:
For both recipes, add everything to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth + creamy! Pour into your favorite glass, or bowl + ENJOY!
Toppings: cut fruit (kiwi + strawberries), blueberries, shredded coconut, bee pollen and edible flowers
