Who says a #ToastTuesday recipe HAS to have toast? Nope! We decided to get a bit adventurous with our toast creations and create a sweet potato “toast” series! It’s so fun!
Sweet potato roasts nice and clean - perfect for holding on all the toppings you desire. Using sweet potato instead of toast also gives you the added bonus of a ton of extra nutrients like potassium, vitamin C and double the daily value of vitamin A. When you add on some Philsophie superfoods, additional veggies or fruits and maybe a healthy fat then you have a deliciously high-vibe brekkie or post-workout snack!
In this variety, we added a good ol’ mashed avocado and some dried citrus slices, which combine beautifully with our Green Dream Savory Blend. Let us know what you think!
Gather This:
1 sweet potato slice
1 mashed avocado
1 tbsp Green Dream Savory Blend
A drizzle of Green Bee Honey
Roasted golden beets
Do This:
Slice your sweet potato and cook in the oven at 450° for 18-22 minutes, flipping over halfway through. Once slightly cooled, spread on your mashed avocado and sprinkle on the Green Dream Savory Blend. Add two slices of roasted golden beets and finish with a healthy drizzle of Green Bee Honey. ENJOY!
