Harmless Harvest Guest Recipe: Lavender Chia Seed Mousse

Raw Organic Chia seeds can swell to ten times their original size, making a small serving very filling. They are known as a superfood by many athletes + competitive fitness models. I love the way they keep me full for a really long time. They also have a very high level of free redial fighting antioxidants which help prevent against disease + aging.

-4oz Harmless Harvest coconut water

-4oz coconut milk full fat + cream from top

-1/4 C raw organic chia seeds

-1/2 C blueberries

-3 dates

-1/2 T lemon juice

-1-2 drops of lavender oil

1 T Berry Bliss Protein Powder

-1/2 t vanilla

-1 1/2 T coconut palm sugar

-1 T Green Dream coconut butter

-pinch sea salt

Do This:

Blend coconut water, coconut milk, palm sugar, lemon and sea salt. Pour mixture into a bowl and add chia seeds. Let chill for at least 45 minutes. Make sure to stir the mixture periodically to keep the chia from settling. You can make this dish the night before so it’s ready to go in the morning! Kiddos love it!

I make a salad dressing with green dream, coconut water, raw Apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and walnut oil. Hymalayan pink salt and pepper. It’s so yummmmmmmm! You all have to try it. I make this when I make my kale and red cabbage salad. Make sure you massage the kale so it’s not so tough to eat.

I like to keep it simple,

Strawberries, banana, kale, chia seeds, flax seeds, cocoa magic philosophie superfood, and some harmless harvest coconut water for a delicious smoothie to start my day!

Add a little gf granola and your set!

Harmless Harvest is the BEST! I absolutely love making smoothies with coconut water and berry bliss w/ frozen berries and bananas, it’s divine.

Kristen on

I would use it in strawberry coconut ice cream. Strawberries, coconut cream, philosophie berry bliss, Harmless Harvest Coconut Water, vanilla and blend!

Michele on

First of all, NO BRAINER! I combine the two all the time – smoothies, chia seed pudding and overnight oats!

My favorite is a chia seed pudding because in a smoothie the unique flavors of each can get lost.

A simple chia pudding with Green Dream and Cacao Magic, using Harmless Harvest as the liquid – is off the charts! Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Fun sweet, healthy Halloween treat: blend harmless harvest with cacao magic, frozen bananas, and throw in some dates for added sweetness. It’s like a chocolate ice cream treat! Yum!! :)

I’d blend the coconut water and lavender with kale…then add in the chia seeds. I’m always on the go so it would be a great drink on the go.

Memorial Weekend has always meant spending time with family and this year is no different. It’s about embracing the warm welcoming of summer and more playtime and joy. It’s moving at a slower rhythm and embracing more joy-FUL days ahead.

We’ve rounded up our favorite cookout recipes for any BBQ or pool party. All are filled with our favorite Philosophie products and meant for many or a few. Enjoy and stay safe this holiday weekend!

A handful of raspberries, boysenberries and blueberries

1 tbsp coconut shreds

1 tbsp Berry Bee Honey

Finish with a drizzle of Berry Bee Honey and enjoy!

10 cherry tomatoes

6-7 garlic cloves

3 avocados

1 jalapeno

1 lime, or lemon (juiced)

1 bunch of cilantro

1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

½ red onion

s + p

Do This:

Add the herbs, garlic, jalapeno, and onions to a blender, and pulse for 2-3 minutes until a paste forms. Then, add the avocados, tomatoes and Green Dream. Pulse until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Season with salt, pepper and lime juice to taste! Transfer to a bowl and enjoy immediately!!!

Gather This:

2 cups quinoa

2 orange bell peppers

1 cup black beans

1 cup corn

1 red pepper

Corn salsa (Sprouts)

1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

Sprinkling Kite Hill Ricotta Cheese

Do This:

Cut bell peppers in half and scoop out insides. Roast for 10 min at 400. While those are roasting, make quinoa and add black beans, corn and saute the red pepper. To the roasted red pepper, add the quinoa mix and sauteed red pepper. Finish by topping with corn salsa, a sprinkling of Green Dream and Kite Hill Ricotta cheese. EAT UP!

Gather This:

Your choice of vegetables, cut into 1 inch pieces

2 tbsp Green Bee Honey

2 tbsp Liquid Aminos, Coconut Nectar, GF Tamari, or Soy Sauce

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 tbsp water

1-2 tsp apple cider vinegar

Do This:

Whisk together all of your wet ingredients and season to taste. Add a little extra honey to sweeten the deal. If you’d like a thicker glaze, pour the mixture into a small pot and let it reduce over medium-high heat. Season your veggies as you wish, brush them with the glaze and set them on the grill. Flip your skewers after a few minutes or so, and add more glaze if you’d like. You can also reserve your glaze to pour on top of veggies once they’re finished cooking!

*  double or triple your wet ingredients for a larger glaze portion.

Gather This:

1 cup juice of your choice!

1 tsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tsp liquid chlorophyll (Liquid Sunshine works great!)

Organic berries and Green Bee Honey (for sweetness)

Do This:

Blend the juice and superfoods together. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze. Serve on a platter for your next pool patter and finish with a drizzle of Green Bee Honey + a handful of your favorite berries. ENJOY!

Gluten-Free Berry Vanilla Oat Cakes

A fluffy stack of cakes is everyone’s breakfast favorite and the more we’re spending at home means more time for getting creative in the kitchen! This stack is entirely gluten-free and made with oats and superfoods.

Oat flour on its own is a bit bland but when you add some vanilla extract, immune-boosting Berry Bliss, and our raw unfiltered supercharged Berry Bee Honey it’s the perfect batch! These gluten-free, vegan pancakes are SO good and are also high in fiber, heart-healthy, and super easy to whip up!

Gather This:

1 ½ cup pulsed oats (to create oat flour)

2 tbsp Berry Bee Honey

1 tsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup nut mylk or a great quality dairy milk like Organic Pastures

Do this:

Add all dry ingredients into a bowl first and stir. Add wet ingredients and cook over medium heat in a pancake grill or skillet. We love using organic pastured butter to cook our pancakes + waffles and to top them with a drizzle of Berry Bee Honey, grain-free granola, or our Coconut Magic Coconut Butter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until you see bubbles appear and that’s when you know to flip!

I can’t wait to see your gorgeous oat cakes! Please share them with me on Instagram with #MyPhilosophie and #PhilosophieSuperfoods!

Refreshing Green Apple Carrot Smoothie

The combination of green apple, spinach and carrot juice is a vibrant, refreshing and nutrient-dense smoothie blend that you MUST try! Enjoy it for breakfast, post-workout or poolside.

While this smoothie is sweet it’s not overwhelming sweet since it’s all natural sugar from the apple, banana, and carrot juice. Apples are an excellent source of vitamin C, which can help boost the body’s immune system and ward of illness during flu season. They are also rich in potassium, an electrolyte that is vital for the proper function of the heart and muscles. The spinach gives you a boost of antioxidants and combined with the plant-based protein, nutrients and vitamins from the Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend this smoothie is a win.

Gather This:

1 banana

1 green apple

1 cup Spinach

½ cup carrot juice (we used a tropical carrot juice blend)

1 cup almond milk

1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

1 Tbsp nut butter of choice (we used coconut butter)

Optional toppings: apple slices, shredded coconut, goji berries, granola

Do This:

Blend + Top + Enjoy!

Simple Berry + Nut Butter Toast

Superfood toasts are ALWAYS a good idea! We’ve layered up our favorite nut butter, fresh berries and shredded coconut on a slice of GF toast and then drizzled it with Cacao Bee Honey for a delicious treat!

Berries are a great source of antioxidants and are full of fiber, so your digestive system is at its best. Almond butter provides a great foundation and beautifully colors the vibrancy of the blueberries and coconut. Coconut helps to keep your heart healthy, courtesy of those good fats. We recommend going unsweetened - so good!

As the Cacao Bee Honey has cacao powder AND nibs, it’s packed with iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and calcium. Plus, it’s a natural mood booster and antidepressant–serious magic! Our supercharged honey also features chia seeds, hemp protein, vanilla, mesquite, reishi, and maca, which we love for keeping our hormones balanced. On top of all of that, it includes reishi mushroom, which has anti-cancer properties, helps the liver detox, and is an amazing immune system booster!

Gather This:

1 slice of GF bread of choice (we love Canyon Bakehouse!)

Handful of mixed organic berries, sliced

1-2 tablespoons almond butter of choice

1 teaspoon shredded coconut

1-2 teaspoons Cacao Bee Honey

Do This:

Toast your slice of bread, spread on the almond butter, layer on the berries, sprinkle the coconut, and drizzle with Cacao Bee Honey!

I'd LOVE to see your dreamy, high vibrational toasts! Share them with me on Instagram with #PhilosophieSuperfoods!

Grounding Beet Smoothie

We’re sharing the delicious grounding smoothie our founder Sophie Jaffe created with Jill from Spirit Daughter! They chatted about the importance of grounding during this time and activating the root chakra.

There’s so much chaotic and fear-based energy in the air stemming from uncertainty so it’s important to find moments of grounding and connect to Mother Earth. Go on walks, plant your bare feet to the earth, move your body (I have TONS of movement videos on my YouTube Channel) and eat grounding, high-vibe foods that activate your root like this superfood beet smoothie!

We used our Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend and Green Bee Honey which help give your body its daily dose of greens and a superfood + plant-based protein, energizing boost!

Gather This:

1 beet (steamed or raw)

½ cup frozen coconut meat

1 cup nut mylk

¼ cup raw cashews (grounding + full of healthy fats, use any nuts or seeds or nut butter)

½ banana

1 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

1 cup fresh strawberries

1 tsp ashwagandha (great for grounding!)

1 cup strawberry dairy-free yogurt (we used Culina)

1 tbsp Green Bee Honey

Do This:

Blend well! Listen to beautiful music as you make your smoothie, dance, breathe deeply and think positive, beautiful thoughts!
