10 Cacao Recipes to LOVE

We are getting in the LOVING spirit over here this month! To celebrate, we’ve compiled 10 of our favorite Cacao Magic recipes for you to dream up in your kitchen and share with your special someone. Not only does cacao provide that addictively yummy chocolatey flavor, this star superfood also works as a natural aphrodisiac + will make those romantic sparks ignite! 


Gather This:

¾ cup cacao butter pieces

¼ cup Cacao Magic (+ more for topping)

2 tbsp coconut milk powder


Chocolate chips

Coconut oil

Do This:

Rinse and dry strawberries. Keep in fridge to cool.

Using a microwave, small pot or double boiler, melt cacao butter to a liquid. This should be done on low heat to ensure it doesn’t burn.

Stir in Cacao Magic and coconut milk powder.

Dip strawberries in chocolate and sprinkle more Cacao Magic on top.

Store strawberries in fridge while you make the second chocolate layer.

Again, in a microwave, small pot or double boiler, melt chocolate chips with a little coconut oil.

Drizzle this over the strawberries.


Gather This:

For the caramel —

5 soft dates

1 tbsp water or nut milk

A pinch of vanilla

A pinch of cinnamon

A pinch of salt

For the chocolate —

½ cup Cacao Magic

¼ cup coconut oil

2 tbsp maple syrup

½ tsp vanilla

A pinch of salt

4 tbsp peanut butter

Do This:

Blend the chocolate ingredients together.

Put a layer of the chocolate in small cupcake molds and freeze for 2 minutes.

Blend all the caramel ingredients.

In the molds, add 1 tsp of caramel, 1 tsp of peanut butter, and top with a layer of chocolate.

Freeze until solid, pop out, + ENJOY!


Gather This:

Handful of medjool dates

Georgia Grinder’s nut butter or nut butter of choice

Coconut Magic Coconut Butter

Coconut flakes

Cacao Bee Honey

Do This:

Using a sharp paring knife, cut one side of the dates lengthwise and use your thumbs to create a small cavity. Add about 1 tsp of almond butter and 1 tsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter to each date. Sprinkle to taste with coconut flakes and drizzle with Cacao Bee Honey and enjoy!


Gather This:

1 frozen banana

1 C almond milk

1 tbsp Cacao Magic

1 tbsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter

1 tsp collagen or Cosmic Elixir

1 tbsp nut butter of your choice

On top: Hu Kitchen, raspberries + shredded coconut

Do This:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Grab your favorite bowl or even better, a heart-shaped bowl (we love ours from Breakfast Criminals!) if you have it and add crumbled Hu Kitchen chocolate, raspberries, shredded coconut and a drizzle of Cacao Bee Honey. Sip, enjoy and fall in love!


Gather This:

1 ripe avocado

½ cup coconut sugar

1 cage-free egg

1 tbsp water

Dash of vanilla extract

¼ tsp baking powder

¼ cup Cacao Magic

¼ cup cacao powder

Large handful of chocolate chips

Sprinkle of sea salt

Do This:

Mash avocado and mix well with coconut sugar, egg, water and vanilla until creamy and smooth. 

Add in baking powder, Cacao Magic and cacao powder, scraping sides of bowl until well incorporated. 

Fold in chocolate chips and scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. 

Top with a few more chocolate chips for good measure & a touch of sea salt, then bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 12 minutes. These will be super fudgy, but firm up as they cool! Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.


Gather This:

1 bag of Birch Benders (or waffle mix of your choice)

1 tsp Cacao Magic

Organic Berries

Optional: Butter,  Philosophie Superfood Honey, or maple syrup

Do This:

Follow directions on bag of mix, and add 1 tsp of Cacao Magic. Cook batter in your waffle iron and finish with toppings!


Gather This:

1 small pre-cooked beet

¾ cup almond milk

¼ cup light coconut milk

1 scoop of Cacao Magic

1 scoop of collagen or Cosmic Elixir

½ tsp maca (optional)

½ tsp cinnamon

½ tsp ground ginger

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp maple syrup

¼ tsp vanilla extract

Do This:

Blend the pre-cooked beet with the milk using a small blender until smooth.

Warm up the mixture in a small saucepan until it comes to a simmer.

Return that mixture back to the same blender, along with the rest of the ingredients until frothy, checking for sweetness.

Pour into your favorite mug and top with dried rose petals & some beetroot powder.

Sip, enjoy & relax!


Gather This:

½ cup milk

5.4 fl oz coconut cream

½ avocado

2 tbsp Cacao Magic

1 tsp Cosmic Elixir

A few mint leaves

1 tsp cinnamon

Dash of sea salt

Handful of cacao nibs 

1 tsp monk fruit 

Do This:

Combine all ingredients in the food processor or high-speed blender. Let sit for 30 minutes in fridge or overnight until the pudding has thickened. Stir and enjoy!


Gather This:

1 handful spinach

½ banana

½ cup frozen berries (I love using blueberries and raspberries)

½ cup steamed + frozen cauliflower

1 tbsp ground flax

2 tsp Cacao Magic

2 tsp Berry Bliss

1 tbsp cashew butter

1 cup almond milk

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp cacao powder

Do This:

Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until thick, creamy, and smooth. You may need to stop and scrape the sides a few times. Drink as is or top with your favorite toppings–I'm a huge fan of cacao nibs and extra nut butter. Enjoy!


Gather This:


½ cup coconut oil

½ cup Cacao Magic

3 tbsp Berry Bee Honey


Berry Bee Honey

Do This:

Gently melt coconut oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in Cacao Magic and Berry Bee Honey into melted oil, well-blended. Pour mixture into a fun candy mold (you can find them on Amazon). Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour, then add in honey on the inside and freeze overnight.

If you’re looking for an alternative way get your daily dose of greens, then these skewers are totally for you. There’s just nothing quite like biting into tender, juicy, and slightly caramelized veggies that have been kissed by a grill…so bring on the BBQ!

This dish is super easy to prepare and ready to eat in minutes! You can cook these kabobs in advance, chill them, and arrange them on a platter for later, or pop them into your mouth right off the grill. Regardless, they will still taste amazing!

And the best part is, these skewers are not only rich in color, but they are rich in nutrients too. Vegetables are naturally loaded with essential vitamins and minerals, but our Green Bee glaze, powered by mesquite, maca and manuka honey, totally sweetens the deal.


Gather This:

Your choice of vegetables, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons Green Bee Honey
2 tablespoons Liquid Aminos, Coconut Nectar, GF Tamari, or Soy Sauce
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon water
1-2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar


    Do This:

    1. Whisk together all of your wet ingredients and season to taste. Add a little extra honey to sweeten the deal. If you’d like a thicker glaze, pour the mixture into a small pot and let it reduce over medium-high heat.

    2. Season your veggies as you wish, brush them with the glaze and set them on the grill. Flip your skewers after a few minutes or so, and add more glaze if you’d like. You can also reserve your glaze to pour on top of veggies once they’re finished cooking!

    *  double or triple your wet ingredients for a larger glaze portion.

    Stepping up your oats game is so much easier than it sounds. This nourishing oat bowl is made with oatmeal, yogurt, chia + hemp seeds, and our Cosmic Elixir Collagen + Adaptogen Blend. This oat breakfast bowl is super sweet and just what you need to make your mornings better.

    Cosmic Elixir is infused with adaptogens to help balance hormones/mood and also has vanilla and collagen in it to keep you glowing all day long.

    1 cup organic oatmeal

    2 tbsp Cosmic Elixir

    1 tbsp raw superfood honey stirred into the oatmeal for sweetness + more for topping

    1 tsp chia + hemp seeds

    ¼ cup coconut yogurt for topping

    Topped with: chopped up dates, chia, hemp seeds, edible flowers and honey to finish

    Do This:

    Pre-make the oatmeal as usual in a pot with water.

    Mix the oats, honey, and Cosmic Elixir until well combined. Add in the chia + hemp seeds until well mixed. Place in a bowl and top with dates, chia, hemp seeds, edible flowers and a drizzle of honey. ENJOY!

    This naturally-energizing matcha latte made with our Green Dream, Coconut Magic and Green Bee Honey is nourishing, energizing and healing! It’s perfect for that mid-day boost without the caffeine jitters and can be easily adapted into a nourishing boost when you add coconut butter, nut butter or soaked nuts.

    Gather This:

    ½ cup water

    1 cup milk or nut mylk of choise

    1 tsp matcha

    1-2 tbsp Coconut Magic (healthy fats, makes latte creamy and adds sweetness)

    1 tsp Green Dream

    Do This:

    Blend, sip, and be well.

    Green Dream Guacamole Recipe

    Alright all you avocado lovers, this one’s for you! It’s super simple to make and only uses a small handful of ingredients. It’s also completely gluten + dairy-free!

    So if you’re looking for a dip to pair with veggies and crackers, or want a luscious topper for a burger, I’m pretty confident that this bowl of avocado heaven will hit the spot. The healthy fats are nourishing for our bodies and brains, and the Green Dream blend adds a detoxifying boost of spirulina. I also tried to brighten this dish up by adding some fresh herbs, onions and tomatoes, but if you prefer a more traditional version, you can always leave these ingredients on the side… they make great toppings!

    If you should happen to run out of snacks to dip with, I highly recommend grabbing a spoon… this stuff is addicting!!!

    Gather This:

    10 cherry tomatoes
    6-7 garlic cloves
    3 avocados
    1 jalapeno
    1 lime, or lemon (juiced)
    1 bunch of cilantro
    1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood Blend
    ½ red onion
    salt + pepper to taste

       Do This:

      1. Add the herbs, garlic, jalapeno, and onions to a blender, and pulse for 2-3 minutes until a paste forms.

      2. Then, add the avocados, tomatoes and Green Dream. Pulse until all of the ingredients are incorporated.

      3. Season with salt, pepper and lime juice to taste!  

      4. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy immediately!!!

      Superfood Matcha Freezer Fudge

      Who's says you can't make clean & healthy sweets? We're here to show you otherwise! To make this mint and matcha fudge, you’ll need tahini, coconut cacao butter, pure maple syrup or Berry Bee or Green Bee Honey, matcha powder, and a few drops of pure peppermint oil (or extract if you don’t have oil). You’ll add them all to a double boiler and whisk together over medium-low heat until you have a smooth, creamy mixture. Then, you’ll pour it into a small, 3×5-inch pan or container (I use a glass tupperware container) and refrigerate until firm.
      If you want to put any toppings on your fudge, wait about 20 minutes, and then add the toppings on the fudge. Bee pollen, coconut shreds and cacao nibs would all taste wonderful with this. Once it’s set, flip the container over, give it a forceful tap to release, and slice into bite-sized pieces of fudge.

      This fudge is perfectly smooth, creamy, rich, and superfood-kissed. It also offers an amazing cooling effect thanks to the peppermint! 
      Gather This: 
      1/2 cup Shirely Bar's Ethiopian Tahini
      1/4 cup cacao butter 
      1/4 cup coconut butter
      2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or Green Bee or Berry Bee Honey 
      1/2 tablespoon matcha powder
      1/2 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood Blend
      5-7 drops pure peppermint oil or peppermint extract to taste (optional)

        Do This:

        In a double boiler, combine all ingredients over medium-low heat. Whisk together for 3-5 minutes or until smooth. If you don't have a double boiler, simply put water in a larger pot and the ingredients in a smaller pot on top. Be careful not to put too much water in the lower/larger pot so that it doesn't boil into the top/smaller pot. You should only need about 1/2 up of water. 

        Grease a small 5x3-inch pan or plastic/glass container with coconut oil and pour the mixture into it. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm and completely set.

        Once set, turn container over and tap to release the fudge. Slice. Store in refrigerator or freezer.

        Chocolate & Peanut Butter Superfood Freezer Fudge

        We’re all about simplicity here at Philosophie and these superfood freezer fudge bars are perfecto! We’re sharing all you need to make these superfood chocolate & peanut butter fudge bars that are rich, chewy, melt in your mouth, and are made from a mix of raw cacao, plant protein, ashwagandha, and maca. 

        Maca and ashwagandha are so easy & good to add into smoothies, teas, and sometimes into bars such as these. Ashwagandha, raw cacao, and maca are all known for helping alleviate stress, anxiety, and supporting mood, energy, and memory. Maca also doubles as being a root tremendous in balancing hormones that also brings in the most delicious nutty flavor. These bars blend them all up, come out beyond fudgey, and are delish to enjoy on their own or best in my opinion, broken up on top of a smoothie bowl.

        These bars are made with our mood-boosting and hormone-balancing Cacao Magic Superfood Blend and superfood collagen blend, Cosmic Elixir. Our Cacao Magic is extremely high in antioxidants and magnesium, with no added sugar.

        Makes: 12 bars

        Gather This:


        2 cups oat flour

        ⅓ vegan protein powder

        1 cup unsweetened plant milk

        ¼ cup all natural nut butter

        ¼ cup all natural maple syrup

        ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce

        2 tbsp Cacao Magic Superfood Blend

        1 tsp maca powder or Cosmic Elixir

        1 tsp ashwagandha powder or Cosmic Elixir

        1 tsp vanilla extract (not necessary if you’re using Cosmic Elixir)


        ¼ cup unsweetened coconut shreds

        Do This:

        1. Place all fudge bar ingredients into a food processor or sturdy blender, and blend until a smooth dough is formed. 
        2. Spread dough out amongst a 9 x 9 baking tray, and press a sheet of parchment paper on top to evenly flatten out the dough.
        3. Sprinkle coconut shreds on top, and place to freeze for 1 hour or until fully hardened.
        4. Once fudge has hardened, remove from the freezer, and allow to slightly soften on the countertop before cutting into 12 bars.

        To store, freeze in an airtight container. ENJOY!!
