Heart of the Week: Plexus Yoga Wheel

Heart of the Week: Plexus Yoga Wheel

When I first opened up my hot pink, Plexus Yoga Wheel, I didn’t quite know what to expect, or how to use it. But after searching on Instagram for some inspo, and engaging in some serious play time with my new toy, I can safely say that I’m obsessed!

Wheel Pose is typically used for opening up the spine as well as the solar plexus chakra, which can lead to feelings of strengthened self-esteem and fill our bodies up with radiant energy. The Plexus Yoga Wheel makes this pose + other challenging backbends much more accessible because it allows you to rest your body weight on the wheel's surface. It’s also great for practicing forearm stands because you can use it to counterbalance falling by gently pressing the back of your head into it. I am definitely still experimenting and experiencing some minor “fails” along the way, but it is all in good fun + I love being able to incorporate new movements into my own yoga practice.

Plexus is a company with integrity and consistently gives back to its roots. India is regarded the birthplace of yoga, and Plexus has teamed up with WaterAid to help provide the country with access to clean water. For every wheel purchased, YOU will be providing clean, safe water to a person in India for more than a decade! This project is allowing Plexus to bring their vision full circle, and I’m happy to support them along the journey!

Hello!!! I am new to your site but absolutely love it!!! I am trying to transition both my diet and strict regimented lifestyle of lifting plus cardio and I find your site and affiliates so inspiring!!! Was wondering if you had any suggestions for following a daily yoga stream either tube or to subscribe to? I am not opposed to DVD s either!! Any information would be well appreciated! Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
