Heart of the Week: OXiGEN Water

Heart of the Week: OXiGEN Water

I’m a huge believer in putting intention into what you are putting into your body. For example, if you are telling yourself that something is pure and you’re taking care of yourself, the given product will work magic in your body. In the same way, if you are telling yourself that you’re a piece of shit for eating a doughnut, those negative thoughts have a far worse effect on your body than the actual doughnut itself. When you are filling yourself with positive thoughts, those positive thoughts are what floods your body with vibrancy.

OXiGEN water and shots are designed for boosting energy, mental clarity, and promoting faster recovery from everyday stress. Whenever I hit that 4pm slump, I’m always tempted to turn to caffeine+sugary treats (it still counts even if they're raw vegan!). This is a much better alternative, with no crash! There are 1,000 parts per million of bio-available oxygen per 20 oz bottle! According to a study cited on their website, “OXiGEN™ water speeds up lactate clearance, making for faster recovery post-exercise. Benefits of increased oxygen also include: improved endurance, improved stamina, greater mental clarity, decreased hangover effects.” All of the benefits help offset life’s everyday stressors--whether you’re an athlete, a busy mom, a partier, or work in an office. It’s also pH balanced, and contains an O4 molecule as opposed to an O2 molecule, so the added oxygen stays in the bottle when you open it. The shots are just a super concentrated version of the bottles, and just taste like salty water.

With a product like OXiGEN water, I know that by drinking it I am taking care of myself, loving myself+making an effort. These types of products and practices are what a healthy lifestyle is all about. It’s what you put in your body, what you put on your skin, the choices you’re making, the friends you have, the thoughts you have... it’s all inclusive! Not only does this placebo-like effect make the product work wonders in your body, but it actually makes it taste better. I swear!

Hi there! I’m a PhD chemist and I just wanted to let you know that the “O4” molecule that Oxigen claims is the active ingredient in their water cannot be isolated and put in a bottle. It cannot even be detected reliably using any known analytical techniques. This was shown by professional scientists who have published papers about the molecule. Their claim is scientifically impossible, and deceptive. I personally would be very hesitant to support this company! Cheers!

Thanks for the share Sophie. Great reminder that it’s not only about what you’re putting in your body, but just as much so… what you are believing about what you are putting in your body!

Will have to try OXiGEN water.

The first paragraph of your post rings so true to me. And it feels good to read a feeling/ an insight put into words. As for the water you are talking about, it sounds really interesting but unfortunately I don’t think it is available over here in France…. ? I’ve heard about the benefits of pure oxygen before. In my organic shop, you can get an “oxygen bowl”. You breeze in some kind of apparatus that provides oxygen enriched air for a few minutes and it’s meant to be really good for you (brain/ muscles/ lungs/ skin etc. )
