Fashion Baby Bump Must-Haves
I’m all about movement whether it’s at yoga, a quick HIT workout, back-to-back Philosophie meetings, or being out and about with the kiddos. Living life as an expectant mama does NOT stop me if I’m in the mood to get my body moving. Although while pregnant with my boys the clothing options available to me were limiting.
Maternity clothes that checked off all the boxes were hard to find and restrictive. If I wanted something cute and stylish it meant resorting to an outfit that was uncomfortable and cheap. If I wanted something comfortable and supportive then it meant not leaving the house that day.
My life simply doesn’t allow this anymore. Thankfully my wardrobe outside of the pregnancy has adopted a more loose, flowy style so many of my go-tos I only had to go a size up (i.e. yoga pants, leggings, dresses, etc.) However, I still found myself wanting statement pieces I could wear to an event downtown, on a photo shoot, or to parties and family gatherings that didn’t mean flexible material or outfits 3 sizes too big.
I was introduced to PinkBlush and life has been forever-changed! Seriously, it was such a godsend to come across this brand. They pride themselves in offering maternity clothing for the modern mom who’s almost always on the go. All their clothing is versatille, super cute and extremely comfortable. I’ve received endless compliments and people are so surprised to find out it’s maternity clothing.
My favorite are their Camel Front Tie Wide Leg Maternity Overalls. I love how comfortable and effortlessly cute they make an outfit look. I’m all about any clothing piece that is ridiculously easy to throw one, but looks chic and put together. As with many of their pieces, this pair of overalls can easily be worn during pregnancy and after. Win-win!
I also picked out a pair of Navy Blue Denim Cinched Maternity Overalls and Blue Distressed Bootcut Maternity Jean. I honestly thought I would be storing away all my jeans during my pregnancy until I came across this brand. Both of these pieces have an elastic waistband, making them possible to wear post-pregnancy. They’re also super cute and comfortable. I adore a good pair of boyfriend jeans and these are very well-made.
To tie it all together, I picked out an adorable robe that I will most definitely be taking into the delivery room to feel pretty postpartum. Any mama knows, this is nearly impossible.
Your body changes so drastically during a pregnancy; we shouldn’t pile on the stress of picking out something to wear. It really makes a difference when you can find a brand that fits your style and synergizes with your way of life so effortlessly. To any other mamas to be, I highly recommend!
