Little Gestures of Love

Little Gestures of Love

I launched our family’s WEEK OF LOVE by creating loving energy with the kiddies + sprinkling little surprises into their day to remind them of how amazing they are + what they mean to me!

Today, we started making homemade Valentine's for Kai and Leo's friendssuperhero masks for their boy friends and princess crowns for their girl friends. We talked about each friend as they made the gifts - why they loves their friends and what's special about them, so we could pour our love into each person energetically. We then made hearts for their teachers and decorated them with flowers we picked outside together.

As a surprise for the kiddies, I created this Heart of Love in Kai and Leo's room at eye level for them. The mirror says "I am positive energy," and I made a heart with post-it notes and wrote positive affirmations for them to see every time they walk by. I absolutely cannot wait to see the look on Kai’s face when he finds this after school!

For breakfast this morning, I made the boys egg in the nest, and tomorrow will make heart shaped paleo pancakes, a classic dish my dad has made for me since I was a little girl. I cut the middle of the pancakes out with a heart-shaped cookie cutter, and the boys faces LIT UP when they saw. I love how touched they are by sweet gestures! It makes my day.

I love your love tips. Valentine’s has always been my favorite because I love giving and receiving love. ❤️
