Healthy City Faves - Tel Aviv

Healthy City Faves - Tel Aviv

A trip to Tel Aviv is absolute magic. For one,  you sip nana tea—a calming blend of fresh mint and hot water—at every meal (and drink up because it’s SO good for digestion!).

And in this city, you WALK everywhere. When you live in a place where driving is your go-to source of transportation, you forgot how incredible it is to walk around a city. You walk after dinner, you comb through the market + pick up some pomegranates, you stroll through the streets, and you really CONNECT with the beautiful gems hidden throughout—the funny signs, the unique shops, the fascinating people that you wouldn’t otherwise notice if you were whizzing by in a car.

There are also parks EVERYWHERE, and a lot of them have workout exercise equipment, which is really great for those days when you just don't feel like going for a run or yoga class. While I use the equipment, I can also let Kai and Leo play and mess around in the park.

In the warm months, the sea is like bath water and an experience within itself. When we are in Tel Aviv in the summer we are at the beach every single day soaking up the sun and healing in the warm sea.

If you’re lucky enough to come to this destination, here are the spots I definitely recommend visiting:

Studio Sol - Hot yoga and pilates - so good! Also a delicious vegan juice bar with yummy snacks and superfood lattes (which occasionally sells Philosophie)

Studio Naim Beautiful yoga studio! Tell the owner you know me! I taught a workshop there! :)

Anastasia - Delicious vegan food with great local vibes. Traveling still means you can eat all your favorite foods if you know where to look!

Jusa - The BEST fresh juice and snacks. We hit up this spot almost immediately after we've settled in. It has something for the whole family.

Tamara Acai Bowls - Such yummy acai bowls for when I'm craving my go-to acai bowl. I like to buy these bowls and add in some Philosophie powders which I ALWAYS pack!

A trip is not complete without a dip in the restorative waters of the Dead Sea. That is all. ‘Nuf said :)

BE SURE you go to Tzfat for a weekend. Super spiritual + my favorite town in the WORLD. It’s about 3 hours from Tel Aviv and SO worth it.
