I grew up in DC in Cleveland Park close to the national zoo, and my childhood was full of bright, beautiful people in our close knit neighborhood + lots of healthy political energy. I split my time from ages 12 to 18 between LA and DC/MD area, flying back and forth between my mom and dad. The contrast of weather, culture, history, + lifestyle kept me balanced + aware of what is possible in this life.
